Use PDF export when a guide has to be read rather than watched: a printed handout, an onboarding pack, an attachment for someone outside your workspace, or a copy to archive.
PDF export is available on the Pro plan.

What the PDF contains

The PDF is the step-by-step share link on paper: the guide title, the opening narration as a description, then every step numbered in order with its narration and its screenshot. Each step is drawn the same way the player draws it, so the background, framing, cursor, arrows, labels, numbers, highlights and blurs all look the way they do on screen. Section slides other than the opening one are left out, the same as in the step-by-step view. The step text is real text, so it can be selected, copied and searched in any PDF reader.

PDF or MP4

If the guide has to live somewhere editable instead, export it as Markdown. Use a share link or embed when you can. With links and embeds, edits stay live and Insights keep tracking.
Re-export the PDF after changing the guide. Downloaded files do not update automatically.
