Account
Create a free Guideless account before capturing.
Extension
Install the extension and pin it to your browser toolbar.
Record the flow
Open your starting page
Go to the app or page where the workflow begins. Have it loaded and ready.
Open the extension
Click the Guideless icon in your Chrome toolbar.
Start capturing
Hit Start capturing. Every click, field, and navigation from here becomes a step.
Click through naturally
Work through the flow the way you normally would. Guideless tracks the sequence for you.
Stop capturing
When you’re done, click Stop capturing to finish recording.
Generate the guide
Guideless assembles your clicks into a labeled step list. No manual tagging needed.
Move through the flow the way a first-time user would. Skip nothing. If a click doesn’t happen, it won’t appear in the guide.
Capture works with most Chrome-based web apps, including SaaS tools, internal dashboards, and intranet systems.
