# Create your first guide in minutes

> Install the Guideless browser extension, record a workflow, generate AI narration, and publish your first shareable video guide in under five minutes.

    Sign up at [guideless.ai/auth](https://guideless.ai/auth).

  <Step title="Install the Chrome extension" icon="chrome">
    Install the **Guideless** Chrome extension. Once installed, you'll see the Guideless icon in your browser toolbar.

  <Step title="Start capturing" icon="circle-play">
    Open the page you want to document. Click the Guideless icon, then **Start capturing**. Every click from here becomes a step.

    Work through the flow naturally. Click **Stop capturing** when you finish.

  <Step title="Review your steps" icon="list-checks">
    Guideless assembles your clicks into a structured guide. Reorder, rename, or delete any step.

  <Step title="Let AI write the narration" icon="sparkles">
    A clear narration script is generated for every step. Edit any line inline if you want a different tone or wording.

  <Step title="Pick a voice" icon="mic">
    Preview available voices and select the one that best fits your guide.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Preview and polish" icon="wand-sparkles">
    Play a preview. Tweak narration, reorder steps, and adjust cursor style and smart zooms. Captions are added automatically.

    Pick the format that fits where you're sharing:

    * **Link** for chat, email, and help centers
    * **Embed** for docs, knowledge bases, and websites
    * **MP4** for social media, LMS, or offline use

    Edit the guide anytime. Existing links and embeds always show the latest version.
